SHIFTING FROM CARETAKER TO MENTOR

Let your students discover who they are and what they are capable of.
When your student comes to Illinois, they will explore, learn, and grow as contributing adults to our campus community; therefore, we shall treat them as responsible adults. As you shift your role from a caretaker to mentor, we hope that you will challenge and support your student to recognize and develop the skills they will need to be successful in college and beyond.

Supporting Your Student Health and Wellness

For your students to perform at their full potential, get good grades, and relieve stress and pressure, they will need to take care of their overall well-being. We will work with your student to strive for health and wellness while maintaining a sense of balance with their academics, professional goals, and personal life, but you can also refer them to the following resources.

International Families

Being far from your student can be challenging not only for them but for you as well. The more information you know regarding our campus, services, and International student processes, the more you can help them get acclimated to Illinois as well as give you that peace of mind knowing that your student is well taken care of.
