You might be exposed to and consume alcohol and drugs during college. At Illinois, we have the resources to help you to stay safe.

Title
Alcohol Culture Explored: Interactive Training (ACE IT)

Body

Whether or not you choose to drink, ACE IT is offered in partnership with New Student Programs and is required for all new undergraduate and transfer students under the age of 21. As you enter Illinois, the training is automatically added to your Canvas Learning Management System.

Title
Creating Alternative Alcohol Plans (CAAP)

Body

CAAP provides an opportunity for learning and personal growth through discussion and group interaction. If you are interested in examining your alcohol use, you are welcome to attend, but some students are mandated to take the class as a result of past behaviors.

Title
Cannabis Harm Reduction (CHARM)

Body

CHARM is a safe space where you can share your experiences, concerns, and questions while evaluating your cannabis habits and learning strategies for low-risk use.

Title
Harm Reduction Peers (HaRPs)

Body

HaRPs are trained volunteers that provide outreach and education on safe alcohol and drug use. Volunteers will meet at times designated by the group, determine projects for the semester, and receive ongoing training from the program coordinator and graduate assistant.
