UNIVERSITY HOUSING 

At University Housing, we strive to make sure you have the options you need to easily meet your dietary needs. In addition to having staff dietitians to consult you on all menus, the EatSmart website allows you to see what items are being served in all of our dining locations (all-you-care-to-eat and retail) and allows you to see the full ingredient list for any item, in addition to nutritional and allergen information.

NUTRITION EDUCATION PROGRAM 

The Nutrition Education Program at the McKinley Health Center aims to teach students on a variety of nutrition topics, encourage healthy eating behaviors, and increase understanding on the benefits of healthy eating. You can meet one-on-one with a Registered Dietitian or review our handy nutrition brochures

The Instructional Kitchen provides a variety of educational and nutrition-focused programming such as nutrition coaching, cooking classes, grab-to-go meal programs, and more to cultivate healthy habits at Illinois.

EVERY BODY PROJECT WORKSHOP 

This workshop is a body acceptance-based program designed to help you feel better about your bodies as we directly discuss the impact of diversity within cultural appearance ideals (including race, gender identity, sexuality, ability, and age) and critique the individual and collective impact of pursuing exclusive appearance norms.
